By flying just over 300km from De Aar, Ewa Wisnierska sets the new German Open Distance Record. No German has flown further. She flew over some mountainous terrain near the last part of the flight. I just thought "forget the roads, just fly with the wind." This approach put her far from the main road, but fortune smiled on her as a friendly farmer gave her a ride back to town.

The seabreeze came through strongly at the end of the flight, ending the chances of flying any further.
